The Alternative Medicine List (“AML”) is a Directory for healthcare providers who are offering diagnostics and treatment services used in the practice of “traditional medicine,” which is for those patients who are seeking optimal health and wellness. Traditional medicine, also known as “alternative” or “holistic” medicine, seeks to provide natural means for helping the body solve its own problems. This is the opposite of orthodox medicine where drugs are used to control symptoms as a means of disease management. AML was created to make it easier to find healthcare practitioners who specialize in helping patients get answers and find solutions unavailable to them through conventional means.
